A custom-built Sundatalab tool presented during a client sign-off: products, stock, orders and customers brought together around a business AI
01

Why custom-built, and why now

81% of SMEs that invest in AI choose a custom-built solution or bespoke development rather than a standard tool (Bpifrance, Baromètre IA 2026). This isn't an aesthetic preference: a standard tool is designed for the average business, and yours isn't.

At the same time, 60% of SMEs that want to build AI skills in-house don't succeed (Bpifrance, Baromètre IA 2026). Hiring is slow, expensive, and one person never covers building, running and compliance all at once. Sundatalab's custom-built approach answers both: a tool that fits your business, without you having to hire to get it.

02

What this changes for you

Benefit

A tool that finally fits your business

Not a simplified version of software designed for everyone: a tool built around the way you work.

Benefit

A quantified return before you invest

You know what the tool should deliver before signing anything: not after the fact, once the money is committed.

Benefit

Zero hiring to manage

No position to open, no rare skill to find and retain: we build and run the tool for you.

Benefit

A tool that evolves with you

Your business changes, and so does the tool, thanks to maintenance, without starting a new project for every adjustment.

03

The type of problem we solve

Repetitive tasks, costly in time, specific to your company: not generic cases.

Example

Product sheets for a catalog of thousands of SKUs

Generate and keep consistent product sheets up to date across a catalog too large to write by hand.

Example

Technical assistant for your sales team

Answer, in seconds, the technical questions your sales team asks repeatedly, drawing on your internal documentation.

Example

Automated client reports

Automatically turn raw operational data into readable reports, ready to send to your clients.

Example

Adapting a sales document for 30 markets

Adapt the language, units and cultural references of a single sales document to a large number of markets, without losing weeks on every adaptation.

The common thread: repetitive tasks, costly in time, specific to your company. If your need resembles this without matching it exactly, that's precisely what the audit is there to clarify.
04

How we work

Three steps, each independent: you can stop after the audit. Each quote is custom-built, drawn up after we've understood your need.

Diagram of the three steps of Sundatalab's custom-built approach: audit (2 to 3 weeks), build (1 to 3 months), optional and recurring maintenance
Audit
2 to 3 weeks

Immersion in your business, identification of tasks that can be automated, quantification of the expected return, written recommendation. A deliverable you can use even if you build nothing afterwards.

Request an audit
Build
1 to 3 months

Design, development, integration with your existing tools, then training your teams to use the delivered tool. Fixed price, set after the audit.

Request a quote
Maintenance
optional, recurring

We keep running the tool, fixing it and adjusting it as your business evolves.

05

Why the audit is billed

A business owner has often already received several "free audits" that were, in reality, just disguised sales pitches. Charging for the audit, and delivering a document that's genuinely usable (including if it concludes that nothing should be built), is what makes the approach credible.

It's also a matter of rigor: our tools run in front of brands that tolerate no deviation on their image. The standard is the same regardless of your company's size.

Frequently asked questions

Am I committed to building after the audit?

No. The audit is a standalone service, billed separately. You then decide, freely, whether or not to launch the build.

Will the tool be integrated with our existing systems?

Yes, that's the purpose of the build phase: the tool is designed to integrate with your current systems, not to force you to change them.

What happens if our need changes after delivery?

That's the role of optional maintenance: we adjust the tool as your business changes, without starting a new project every time.

Do you work with sensitive or regulated data?

Yes, in compliance with GDPR and the AI Act. See our compliance support for the details of what this involves.

Start with an audit

We look at your business, quantify what a tool would deliver, and tell you whether or not to build.

Billed, and sometimes it concludes with "don't build anything."
